Chemical Peels at Youthology

 

Reveal refreshed skin with regular chemical peels. Peels can speed up the of cellular turnover by manually shedding dead cells. All peels contain active chemical exfoliants which break up dull, dead skin cells and remove them. Once that layer of skin sheds, younger-looking skin takes its place. 

We offer chemical peels from Glyone, PCA Skin, and SkinBetter Science.

We typically recommend that chemical peels be done in a series of 3 or more. They may also be combined in a series with other treatments offered at Youthology including microneedling, custom facials and dermaplaning.

What Concerns Does a Chemical Peel Address?

Depending on the intensity of the peel, treatments can be used to fade age spots, soften fine lines, and leave skin looking younger and more vibrant, as well as feeling healthier. Like any skincare treatment, peels are not one-size fits all. 

During your appointment (or at a consultation prior to your appointment), a professional peel will be chosen from different types of peels and a range of strengths to address your specific skin concerns such as aging, acne and  hyperpigmentation. 

How Much Downtime Should You Expect?

After a chemical peel, the amount of skin shedding depends on how strong the peel is and how deep it penetrates the skin, and our highly trained team will discuss this process with you at your appointment. We have some peels that will leave you instantly glowing with no “peeling” and other, deeper peels, that have a longer peeling cycle.

We will also provide you with skincare recommendations for after care to ensure you have minimal downtime and optimal results.
